whitewash paint|Removable paint to whitewash windows?

The following not about whitewash paint, also not about the contents of the computer help,But ,a little bird told me, it is classic:A bully is always a coward.Success is a relative term. It brings so many relatives. Work makes the workman..Q&A–: Removable paint to whitewash windows?
We are renovating a storefront and want to cover the windows so people can’t look in but still allow some light in. After we are done renovating we need to remove the paint easily. Any recommendations of what to use? Is there some type of paint that is designed to be easily washed off glass? If we use paper, it will be too dark inside. Thanks in advance for any help.

Question–: what should I use to paint my interior log walls – I’d like a whitewash effect.?
I’m tired of the dark look of the logs in my bedroom. They have not been previously coated and are approximately 30 yrs. old. What should I use?

Seal the logs first with a sealer of some sort.. so that in the future, if you do not like the paint, it can be changed back to wood… because it hasn’t “soaked” into the log….
Just pick a nice white color, or off white (I’m hooked on a color called “Rice Paper” from True Value Hardware stores, It’s a wonderful creamy off white).I think I’d Get it in gloss and add glaze to it. it will lighten up the whole room and have a sheer appearance on the log, as to still see the grain of the wood through the paint. it will have a sheen to it, if you use the gloss….. Good luck! and sounds like it will be nice.

i would use a alkyd semitransparent stain which if unsatisfactory would be the easy est to rectify
also as you aply it you can wipe it down to get desired effect

first off i used to build log homes neither inside or outside should have a solid coat finish because the log being able to breath is part of what has allowed you’re home to last and as far as going to a lighter color finish stain wise its not possible without sanding off all the old stain first that was always a concern when someone went with a walnut or darker colored stain but if you are having problems with the exterior of you’re home I do travel all over the country repairing and instructing log home owners on proper care and maintenance of there investment
