Q&A–: What are some prices for white and purple wall paint?
I’m having a hard time finding the paint prices of eggshell white and purple paint for walls. Any prices you know?

Hi
Just go to Lowe’s and they will match your color for $ 20 – $ 30 per gallon. Remember you will need about 2 gallons for the walls…that will include the ceiling. Now if you want the ceiling a different color…figure another gallon.

Go to Home Depot website, or Lowe’s or even Walmart. Prices vary on quality. For purple, they would mix the color for you when you purchase it. They don’t have purple paint on the shelves. They have a base color which is then tinted to the color and shade you select from the color chips they have in the store.

I could tell you paint prices from where I am but they might not be the same where you are. Call stores in your area that sell paint and ask them how much eggshell paint is. Most places have a range of prices. Colour doesn’t affect the price. Home Depot, Lowes, Wal-Mart, Benjamin Moore, check the yellow pages under “paint”, and building supply places sell it too.

Question–: what colors to mix to produce purple paint for house interiors?
i’m painting my daughters bedroom and she wants a lavender or purple paint. the walls are made of wood

You’d be far, far better off to buy ready-mixed purple paint at the hardware store or paint store. Mixing paint colours should be left to professionals. For one thing, it’ll be easier to match it if you need to repaint a wall or if you want to paint something else later. For another, mixing old paint is a really bad idea; you’ll get a clotted mess.

red and blue make purple, to make it lavender you would have to add enough white until you got the shade you wanted
