BOX BROKEN,
When this arrived the top of the box had popped apart at the joints. No nails or brads had been used in construction. I had to take off the hinges and re-glue the top. Disappointing but the set as a whole was a very good beginner set. A lot of brushes. nice pallet, and good array of paint colors. Made a nice gift.

|Compact set for the travleing artist,
I was wracking my brain for a Secret Santa gift for my uncle. He’s an art teacher and a wonderful artist so I wanted to get him something along this avenue. I came across this item in a last-ditch effort to find something he would use over and over again. Boy did I get lucky! He was immediately thrilled when he opened the box to see a set of quality paints and brushes in a nice, compact carrying case. I paired this with some canvas paper and he began drawing the second he opened the box. I was very surprised by the quality of the products inside, especially for the price. None of the paints were dried out, the apron actually felt like an apron, and the brushes weren’t shedding every two seconds. I highly recommend this for everyone from the hobby artist to the traveling pro.
