Fill holes with wood filler. Sand to 150 grit to remove rough spots. Prime bare spots. Paint with 100% acrylic enamel with the gloss you prefer for a long lasting finish.

Nope, if the paint won’t stick, then nothing you put on the paint is going to make stay there. The top coat will just peel off with the paint.

Only if you want a bigger mess. Clean the paint off, sand well and
then get a good primer from the paint store. Tell the people who work there what you are trying to do, and follow their advice.

sorry the answer is no,its still going to peel because laminate is really plastic,and plastic is an oil base product,and paint will not stick to oil,i wish i could have said yes,unless there is a new product on the market today,good luck.
