Here you can choose to skip this, because not is paint ideas, also not about the contents of the outdoor shop,But ,a little bird told me, it is classic:Friendship is like earthenware: once broken, it can be mended; love is like a mirror: once broken, that ends it. (Josh Billings. American humorist)A friend without faults will never be found.Books and friends should be few but good..Question–: Paint ideas?
My room is white now and I hate it! My furniture is all matching mahogany, my bedding is a dusty light green and my floor is terracotta tile. I don’t want somepthing i will get tired of. I was thinking maybe a very light yellow? If you have any suggestions i would love to hear them, also if you know the name of a specific paint color that would look good please tell me. Thanks!

go to Band Q and get some colour charts. They have loads for free Personally I hate terracotta- it is the colour of old plant pots. Can you put down a decent carpet or rug? The you can change the walls to something that does not have to match and you can get new bedding too

I like yellow too

Answer by Melissa H
I’d say light yellow is a good choice. Here are some other samples, last 2 rows…

I agree with your yellow idea, I think it will allow the room to stay bright and not contrast with the other colours in the room. If you ever change your mind yellow is easy to cover too.

No I can’t think of anything really great today.

light green on the lower part of the walls and light blue on the top and nearly white in the very middle as they blend.

Mohogany, light green, terracotta? You need some sand!!! Try a neutral “sandy” but “fleshy” color. You will never get sick of it. I am afraid that a light yellow will not work with the funiture or the tile. I could be wrong. But I doubt it! haha!

Why not go Tuscan and paint your walls a light aquamarine. It would be great with the brown furniture and the red terracotta. Be bold…life is too short to be boring. Get some morrocan hanging lights and paint yourself a large abstract painting to hang incorporating terracotta and aquamarine and the dusty light green. Get lots of pillows in all these colors and it will pull everything together.

Go to lowe’s.com. Click on “projects” & use the virtual painter. You can paint sample rooms hundreds of colors til you find the one you like best, & will go with what you already have. It’s fun & easy to use.

Firstly, would you consider getting a nice white rug for your floor? I wouldn’t reccomend any shade of yellow..is that the colour you’d want to see when your heads spinning from a hangover?? Or if you’re feeling ill? I know i wouldn’t!
An easy thing that you could do is leave the walls white and paint just one wall in a calm soothing colour, i painted one wall of my room in ‘ballet pink’, now i thought i could get bored of it but its actually really soothing and brightens up my whole room. I’d reccomend that you got different bedding…perhaps a cosy cream? All this shouldn’t cost much as you’d only be painting one wall..this method also makes the colour less overbearing!

Hope that helped!

Answer by dali333
light blue-grey walls would be nice.

Answer by sucheckers
how about yellow. if you pick the right shade it would look really nice with blue carpet. also it would brighten the room a lot, if you cant let the sunshine in, make your own light haha =)

Answer by OneWish
ok so you want a dark wall with lighter trim?? No problem. Ok so your carpet is blue so why not paint your room a navy blue. and for the trim white is a light colour boring but light and if whites not the colour, what about liught blue or a mix you know like add polka dots or something, whatever you do good luck
