My son is half Asian, and I want to dress him up as a Buddah for Halloween. The statues are gold, and if possible I’d like to cover his body with gold. Is there a paint or makeup kit I can use that’s safe for his skin?

There are non-toxic makeups available, but they are intended to be used for older children or adults. I would caution against using any makeup on the baby. Consider that feeding peanut butter to a baby can create a peanut allergy later in life, and you’ll soon realize that body makeup could cause the same thing. I’d suggest a gold bodysuit or onesie instead.

gold paint–: Has anyone else had a hard time finding Gold Spray Paint?
I have looked in several stores and can not find any gold spray paint. Has anyone else noticed this too? My husband says that it’s because people are huffing gold paint. What do ya’ll think or know about it?
