Question–: What painting colors (for gypsum false ceilling) go best with maroon and beige furniture?
i did some false celing “gypsum board” design and im still confused with what painting color shall i paint them .. my furniture color is Maroon (Dark and Light) and Beige ..
P.S. here im talking about the Salon and Dining Room ..
the color of the walls is Ivory “i guess :S” but all i need to know is what color shall i paint the Gyps …
Does Light Peach go with it?! or what other color would u recommend ..
pls help me take a good decision …

Ceilings are best painted white with a ceiling paint.
Ceiling paint is thicker so it won’t drip.

Q&A–: What color should I paint my bedroom furniture?
I have a wood bed, bedside table, and dresser that are black. I want to paint them a lighter color to brighten up my bedroom. For wall color, I’m thinking about maybe a light yellow. What color do you think would look nice for the furniture with yellow walls? Do you think it could possibly look bad if the furniture was just a solid, painted color with no wood grain showing through?

You could paint it a creamy white.

And hang white plates behind the bed, on the wall, like the 3rd pic here:

My daughter’s room is also painted with yellow. I brought this bed from foreverredwood nttp://www.foreverredwood.com/bunkbed.html and just painted it with brown and then I use yellow and green curtains.

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to help you imagine how the colors will look together. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the “painted” rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think “irish cream” (# 7537) might be a good choice.

Foyer in Progress – Paint Colors

The livingroom’s green wall is completed (yay!) and tonight we can move furniture back where it belongs. The curved (taupe-gray) wall and the green wall of the foyer are complete except for the baseboard trim’s second coat. The doors and, probably, the railings will be black. The ceiling is the bi*ch.
