A pressure washer would be best, but if that didn’t work you will need to purchase a concrete/ stone stripper chemical to loosen the paint first.

gasoline and a stiff brush

What kind of paint? latex or oil based?
If latex, the pressure washer should have cut it. If it is latex (water cleanup) then you need to apply a paint stripper to it and then pressure wash.
If it is oil based (varnish, stain, lacquer, etc), then use the proper paint stripper and pressure wash the stuff away.
If it is a epoxy or urethane, find the proper stripper and blast.
A cheaper way is to paint it with used motor oil, then blast it away. Its legal for a private citizen to do.

Depending on the type of paint, turpentine (undiluted) should work. The problem that you’ll have is the crevices perhaps, but nonetheless, the chemical should seep in and allow you to then pressure wash it off. Another option beyond that may be muriatic (spelling is incorrect there) acid, but I’d definitely suggest caution in handling that. Also, if you’re talking blacktop versus concrete, you may damage the driveway with either of these. Perhaps someone else can build upon this. I would also mention that disposal (the run-off from washing) either of these might pose a problem. I would suggest using either very sparingly and clean up with a sponge and bucket, then dispose of the remnants properly (don’t drink it … in case you were for some reason considering that as an option). All the best! -WDL

Did you try some paint thinnner.
My dad used to use this all the time.
I think this should solve your problem.
I have some paint on my driveway from a spill two summers ago when I was painting my house.
I am now inspired to go and do this myself!
Thanks for the reminder!
Paint thinner and a hose should do the trick.
Good Luck.

This is a toughie. If it was oil-base paint, try some lacquer thinner on it, covered with a plastic tarp for several hours. It then might be scrubbable off with a towel dipped in the lacquer thinner.
Or try something like 3M “Safest Stripper”, a not too toxic paint stripper.
Worst case you’ll have to rent a sandblaster.

Question–: Where can I find fence paint in pink?
I want to paint a new fence in a pale pink colour, have not seen anything suitable in the shops Are there any specialist web sites that could supply paint in this colour or may be able to mix colours to order?
The answer in the following: (Hint: For answers, no site audit.)

Go to the local paint store and tell them you want a custom color mixed, be sure to have at least the pale pink color swatch you want or a picture of the pale pink. Since this is a fence, I assume it is wood, so you would need an oil based paint. Tell them what you want, what you are painting and they will be able to mix your custom paint. Just be sure to have the measurements of the fence, length, width, etc. so you can purchase enough custom mix pale pink at one time! Then have fun painting your fence. It can be done.
