I want to paint my back fences with fence paint. I have bought a small roller, but it comes with to attachments, should I use the smooth one or the fluffy, towel like one? please help. The fences have never been painted before.

Chuck the rollers and go karate kid style. Use a paint brush.

Fill any cracks in the woodwork, and rub down well with sandpaper till it becomes smooth enough.Then paint the fence from up to down about three times. I have ever painted my table myself. Hope my experience is helpful.
